Janet Fanaki is a mother, a wife, a caregiver to her husband with glioblastoma, and the producer and creator of RESILIENT PEOPLE, a website dedicated to sharing the stories of EXTRAordinary people who have or are overcoming challenges in their lives. On today’s episode, Janet shares her experience as a caregiver, the unique needs and challenges a caregiver experiences, how to talk to children about illness and so much more. One thing Janet said on today’s episode is that the simplest thing to say to someone who is going through a hard time is “how are you?” That’s all it takes to show that you are there for them. I urge all of you reading this to take a moment out of your day today and reach out to someone in your life who is struggling. It will mean more than you know.
